Will is being bullied by a boy at school called Cole who is two years older than him. Cole steals a tomato that Will has taken to school to draw in his art class. The tomato ends up in a letterbox. Cole tries to run Will over on his bike but crashes into a ditch. Does Will help Cole or just run off and leave him? What happens to the tomato in the letterbox?
Will is eight years old and lives with his mum, dad and his dog, Clive. He spends much of his time with his best friend Charlie who lives in the house on the opposite side of the street and Alexandra, his next door neighbour.
The author, Paul Cook, wrote these stories for his eight year old son Matthew to read as part of his homeschooling activities during the COVID-19 lockdown. Matthew enjoyed reading the stories (or he was just being polite) and so Paul decided to share them online. These short stories are suitable for children aged 8-11 years old. This book contains scenes of bullying and mild violence which might upset some readers.
